STORY

Fat Tire was born on a bike. When our co-founder pedaled his way through Europe, sampling beer along the way, the tires on his mountain bike garnered glances and comments that inspired the name of a craft beer icon. The flavor profiles he discovered on that ride sparked the recipe for a beer he would begin to brew in his Colorado basement.

BREWING NOTES

Fat Tire's unique flavor profile originates from 1930s Belgium. During this era, small breweries began offering easy-drinking beer crafted with signature Belgian yeast in order to satisfy the tastes of visiting British soldiers. Today, Fat Tire delivers drinkers everywhere a flavorful, balanced beer with a fresh herbal hop profile, fine malt presence and a touch of fruity yeast, making it a timeless beer with broad appeal.

COMBATING CLIMATE CHANGE

WE DON'T WANT TO LIVE IN A WORLD WHERE A SIX-PACK COSTS $100.

As climate change disrupts global agriculture, the economic effects will be felt even in the beer aisle. Our imminent reality: A world in which beer, along with staples like coffee and rice, will be out of reach for many Americans. Unless we act collectively now to solve the greatest crisis of our lifetime.
